Vulnerability opens up conversations
As a man, I have been discouraged from showing vulnerability. It is against my nature to show vulnerability, but it can help me to resolve conflicts. A show of fake strength shuts down a conversation, whereas an expression of feeling and uncertainty opens up a conversation.
